Cook Islands Distillery was born out of a
dream to create world-class spirits from
our little pacific paradise.

ABOUT US
Kia orana e aere mai,
Handcrafted in the village of Nikao on family land, our small distillery produces gin, vodka and rum. Nikao is on the main island of Rarotonga, and it is the village of our kopu tangata, past and present.
Our spirits reflect the essential elements of our island home, celebrating its unique flavours, traditions and natural beauty.
INTRODUCING TAVAKE SPIRITS by COOK ISLANDS DISTILLERY
With a little experimentation and a thirst to put a subtle spin on the classics, we are proud to launch our debut range of handcrafted spirits, Tavake.
Tavake is a majestic seabird with a distinct long red tail, once prized for feathers of adornment. It represents the journey our ancestors took to voyage between our islands, and the botanicals that are spread across our oceans.
In the creation of our spirits we have thoughtfully incorporated local produce like raparapa (star fruit), vanira (vanilla), ara (pineapple) bark, as well as pure Rarotongan rainwater.
And here we never rush, on island time we take care to bring out the best of our island home.
